3 quality resources that any new teacher in my grade level and/or content should not be without!

Kahoot!

Kahoot! is one of my favorite resources that can be used in at any grade level and with any content. I used this resource to assess the level of understanding of my students and also to review important concepts. It created a positive atmosphere in my classroom and the students were always highly engaged when we were playing. This is just a fun, easy resource that makes it enjoyable for the students and the teacher!

Desmos

Desmos is more specifically for math and is useful for graphing and interactive activities. Desmos is an online graphing calculator that can quickly and easily be manipulated by students and teachers. For a project, student had to create a house on Desmos and the house was made of graphs, tables, and shapes. The students reviewed important concepts such as plotting points and linear equations. I would highly recommend Desmos to any math teacher wanting to take their classroom to the next level.

Google Forms

Google Forms is a great tool for collecting data quickly and efficiently. I have used it to collect feedback from students and as a tool for self-assessments. It is easy to make your own surveys and you can also use it for quizzes and tests. If you have not used it yet, I highly recommend it!
